Important Information!!!

Just in case you haven't seen this, here is the information for next week everyone needs!!

--Students need to be at Bucksport Middle School with their gear by 7:30 AM Monday morning (see gear list on back).  Students need to be picked up at Bucksport Middle School at 2:00 PM Friday afternoon.  (This is very important).  Students may not take the bus between home and school with their gear.  Bus transportation will be provided for students and their gear from school to camp and back only.  Upon arrival at BMS on Monday morning, students please proceed to the auditorium with gear rather than homerooms.
--OK to bring:  personal music listening devices, cameras, skateboard (must bring helmet), hats.  Do not bring:  cell phones* [OK if phone is camera/music device, but not to be used as phone or for texting], snacks, personal computers, video games.  These items are subject to confiscation, to be returned at the end of the week (excepting snacks).  BMS personnel will conduct searches of luggage prior to departure.
--Phone contact between parents and students is not unrestricted.  Any student needing to call home (need determined by Kieve staff together with student) will be allowed access to a phone.
--Medication:  place all medications in their bottles/containers inside a plastic zip lock bag with written instructions on a piece of paper as to the administration.  All meds (except inhalers which need to be kept by the user) will be collected at BMS and turned over to Kieve staff upon arrival.
--Parents planning to visit camp on Friday:  we strongly encourage parents visiting on Friday to bring your child home with you; please remember to sign your student out on Friday if you plan to give your child a ride home with you, so we may have an accurate sense of who’s supposed to be on the bus home (directions on back).  If you attend, but choose not to have your child ride home with you, it is very important that you are at BMS by 2:00pm to pick him/her up (or have made other arrangements).  Arrangements to have another student’s parent bring you child home may only be made in advance via the BMS office; no last minute requests taking place at the Leadership School will be accommodated.
--Kieve phone # is 563-6212, location 42 Kieve Road, Nobleboro, Maine (be careful if using GPS, it’s a rural area), website is www.kieve.org .
--You may check our school website for a link or go directly to www.bmsteamseven.blogspot.com for updates on students’ progress throughout the week.

Here we go!
